I It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Florence Ivel at Palmerston & District Hospital on Friday, September 19th, 2014 in her 96th year.

Florence Marie (Greer) Ivel was the wife of the late Alex Ivel. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her children Leora Knapp of Listowel, Linda Wilkinson and her friend Harvey Miller of Alma, and Meg Young and her husband Randy, Robert Ivel and his wife Joan, and Allan Ivel and his wife Kim, all of Harriston.

Proud gramma of Tricia Knapp and Leif Smith, Bryan and Melissa Knapp, Janet and Shawn Redmond, Trevor and Heather Wilkinson, Lauren Scott and Dave Jacobs, Colin and Lindsay Scott, Leslie Young, Ali Ivel and Matt O'Dwyer, Taylor Ivel, Jocelyn Ivel and Carson Ivel; and great-gramma of Connor Redmond, Kayla Redmond, Hilary Wilkinson, Alanna Wilkinson, Natalie Wilkinson, Daniella Wilkinson, Logan Knapp, Tyler Scott and Andrew Scott.

Sister of Jim Greer of Grandview, Manitoba and Agnes Robins of Hamilton.

Florence was predeceased by her son-in-law Robert Knapp, her brother Charles Greer and sister Edna Kanges.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held from Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston on Tuesday, September 23rd at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Kathy Morden officiating.

Interment in Harriston Cemetery.

Memorial donations to Juvenile Diabetes Association or Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
