Life Story for Carman Klages

Carman  Klages
Carman Klages of Harriston - passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Friday, November 14, 2014 in his 79th year.

Carman was the husband of Evelyn ( Metcalf ) Klages, and father of Alan Klages and his wife Jane of Bluevale, Janice Rae and her husband Jim of Edmonton, Melody Klages and and her husband Steve Beirnes of Owen Sound, and Greg Klages and his wife Stephanie Akers of Toronto.

Missed by his granddaughters Ashley and Greta.

He was the brother of Doug and Laura Klages of Hanover, Helen Matthews of Drew, Elaine and Orval Kaufman of Hanover, Joan Kaufman of Hanover and her friend Bob Tanner, Shirley and Doug Church of Whitby, Ardelle and David Quigley of Edmonton, Brian and Sharon Klages of Cameron, Carol and Albert Wiebe of Sioux Lookout, and Marilyn and Jim Bainard of Whitby; and brother-in-law of Trudy Klages of St. Agatha, Lydia Maitland of New Hamburg, Verdella Stere of Harriston, and Ken and Sharon Metcalf of Kitchener,

Carman was predeceased by his daughter-in-law Jean Klages, his parents Bessie and Norman Klages, his brothers Glenn Klages and Murray Klages, and by his brothers-in-law Grant Matthews, Alvin Kaufman, Malcolm Maitland, and Verle Stere.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Purdy Cemetery, Greenoch Township.

Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
