Life Story for Earl Yeo

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin and dear friend Earl Shelton Yeo, on Tuesday January 27, 2015 at Palmerston & District Hospital in his 65th year with loving family at his side.

Earl is survived and will be missed by his loving wife of 44 years Maureen, children Sherry Yeo (Stephen McNeill), Benny Yeo, and Colleen (Mike) Trudeau. Adored Grandpa of Vanessa (Robin), Kiana, Selena, Alexis, Odessa, D'lyla, Elijah and proud Great Grandpa of Katrina.

Earl was one of 15 children born to Alfred and Laura Yeo and will be missed by surviving sisters Eunice (late Tony) Schmalenberg, Erma (Gary) Oldfield, Lorrean (Ron) Kwiatkowski, Mary Bridges (John Jack), Judy (Bill) DaMaren and Marilyn (Wayne) Perry. Brothers Eustace, Ben (Norma), Dale (Janet), Clinton (Sue), and Fred (Chris). Sister-in-law Eleanor (late George) Yeo, Brother in law Johnny (Shirley) Hall. The extended family of many nieces and nephews, and hundreds of cousins and dear friends.

Earl was predeceased by his parents Alfred (1988) and Laura (2008) Yeo, brothers Gordan (1952), David (1973) and George (2009), nieces Christine Yeo (1975), Michelle Bridges (1983), nephews Dylan Yeo (1989), Vincent Yeo (1999), great niece Emily Grace Brown (2007), mother in law Bernice Hall (1968), father in law David Hall (2007) and brother in law Tony Schmalenberg (2013).

Following Earl's wishes, a bequeathal of his body has been made to medical research at the University of Western Ontario, London and within 24 months further arrangements will be made to have his cremated remains buried alongside his parents and brother George at the Church of the Nazarene Cemetery in Elmsdale, P.E.I.

A celebration of his life will be held in the summer of 2015 in Alma, Ont., with a date, time and place to be announced

Memorial donations to Palmerston & District Hospital would be appreciated, and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.

The whole family of Earl Yeo would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Palmerston & District Hospital for all the care, kindness and support we received.
