Beloved husband of Eileen (Frank) King of Hanover.

Father of Michelle and Robert Sloat of Stratford, and Gary and Patricia King of Hanover.

Grandfather of Craig and Tina Sloat of Vancouver, Alicia Wells and Jeff Savile of Stratford, Christopher and Kristin Wells of Ingersoll, Ashley McLeod and Joseph Bundy of Zurich, and Alicia English, and Amber King, all of Hanover, and great-grandfather of Issabelle, Ethan, Lucas, and Gabriel.

Predeceased by his great-granddaughter Brooklyn, brothers Jim King, Donald King and wife Donna, and Jack King and wife Fran, sisters Audrey Baylor and husband Raymond, and Irene Hannah and husband John, and by his parents Garnard and Elva (McMinn) King.

Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, Harriston, on Monday, August 17th at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
