Life Story for Laverne 'Barney' Greenley

Laverne 'Barney'  Greenley
E. Laverne ‘Barney’ Greenley passed away at his home in Howick Township on Monday, November 7, 2016 in his 76th year.

Elmer Laverne Greenley was the husband of Marlene Greenley; and father of Jack Greenley, his wife Tammy and their children Taylor and Cooper, and Randy Greenley and his children Charlie and Lance, all of Howick Township.

Brother of Lorna Roth and Tony Pace of Kitchener, Bryan and Phyllis Greenley of Clifford, Katherine and Dennis Dodd of Clifford, and Barry Greenley and Doreen Dowler of Howick Township, and brother-in-law of Lloyd of London, Brent and Janet Wylie of Hanover, and Kevin Wylie and Helen Russell of Dorchester.

Remembered by his nieces and nephews, and their families.

He was predeceased by his son Mike, sisters Dorothy Noble, and Shirley Heimbecker and husband Harvey, brother Jim Greenley and wife Sharon sister-in-law Lil Noble, his parents Elmer and Maude Greenley, and Marlene’s parents Elva and Bert Wylie.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Knox United Church, Clifford on Friday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m..

Interment in Lakelet Cemetery.
