Hilda May (Thomas) Bridge formerly of Palmerston and Listowel – passed away at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo on Sunday, December 4, 2016 in her 95th year.

Hilda was the beloved wife of the late Walter Bridge.

Loving mother of David and Carolyn Bridge of Wallaceburg, Ruth and Chuck Hope of Waterloo, Harvey Bridge of Palmerston, and the late Phillip Bridge (1997). Fondly remembered by Rhonda Russell and family.

Loving grandmother to Tracy and Scott, Daniel and Alicia, Tom and Meghan, Kaye and Alex, Peter and Kendall, and Erin; and great-grandmother to eight, as well as an expected great-grandbaby Hope.

Sister of Bert Thomas of Fort Myers, Florida, and sister-in-law of Joyce Bridge and Grace Bridge, both of Palmerston, and Shirley Thomas of Peterborough.

She was predeceased by her parents Rev. George and Laura Thomas, one sister, two brothers, four sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law

A family service was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday, December 7th with Rev. Pam Tolmay officiating.

Interment in Palmerston Cemetery.
