Gerald 'Jerry' George Iza of Palmersto, at Palmerston and District Hospital on Thursday, February 2, 2017 in his 92nd year.

Jerry was the beloved husband of Norma (Wright) Iza, and dear father of Debbie and Larry Forbes of Elmira, Ellen and Carl Barhorst of Ohio, Geraldine and Tim Nelson of Palmerston, Shelley and John Dick of Palmerston, and Rene and Melanie Iza of Goderich.

Grandfather of Stephen Forbes and Stephanie Turnbull, David and Amanda Forbes, Andrea and Bill Frappier, Megen and Sam Galbraith, Ben Nelson, Holly Nelson, Kyle and Carling Dick, Jordan Dick and Alana Dickert, Kevin and Hanifah Dick, Jamie Dick and Kyndra Kienapple, Mayella Iza, and Livia Iza; and great-grandfather of Luke, Megan, Xander, Dylan, Tyler, Austin, and Sophia.

He was predeceased by brothers George Iza, Rene Iza, John Iza and Gaton Iza, and sisters Noella Oakley, Henrietta Schedewitz and Paulette Schippling.

Visitation will be held at the Palmerston Evangelical Missionary Church on Sunday, February 5th from 1:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service 3:00 p.m.

Spring interment in Palmerston Cemetery.
