Obituary for Bob Schram
Bob Schram ~ At West Nipissing General Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2017, Mr. Robert Earl Schram of Verner, in his 65th year.
Father of Patrick and Lise Schram of Verner, and Clara White of Sturgeon Falls, and grandfather of Neil and Kayla Schram.
Remembered also by his sister Susan and Brian Holst of Harriston, brothers Bill Schram of Harriston, and James Schram of Verner, brother-in-law Ivan Sisson of Thornbury, and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his sister Ruth Ann Sisson, brother Leslie Schram, and parents Bill and Bessie (Pressey) Schram.
Bob received a kidney transplant in 1976 and was Canada’s longest-living kidney transplant recipient.
Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 16th at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating.
Interment in Aylmer Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
