Elva Marie Ross ~ Our hearts are overflowing with shock, sadness and grief at the sudden and unexpected passing of our friend Elva.

Elva is remembered affectionately for the many aspects of her life including her devotion to family and friends, her love of teaching and coaching, her strong enjoyment of many sports, researching family connections, and an appreciation of all aspects of farming.

Elva is survived by beloved friend Mary-Beth Wilson, her children Rachelle Wilson and Jake Rowntree, and Lyndsey and Josh Berlett, and grandchildren Taylor, Brooke, Jack and Etta, and by her sisters and brothers Donald Ross and Jill Callaghan, Betty and Ross Small, Mary and Michael Orton, and Jim and Brenda Ross.

Beloved aunt of David Small, Robin Ross and Kevin Turner, Jeremy and Elisa Orton, Lee-Ann and Brian Sutherland, Dennis and Jeanne Small, Ryan and Jana Orton, Molly Ross and Mark Tedesco, Ben and Sarah Small, Erin and Simon Schofield and Kyle and Landace Ross; and great-aunt of Xander Turner-Ross, Oliver and Kaira Orton, Jake Orton, Bailey and Kloe Williams, Madison, Caitlynn, Finn, Sean, and Carter Tedesco, Michael, Katherine, Joseph, Nathan and Monica Small, Evan Schofield and Lincoln Ross.

She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Marion Ross.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at Harriston United Church on Wednesday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Jessica Cottrell officiating.

Interment in Harriston Cemetery.

Memorial donations to Palmerston and District Hospital or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
