Condolence From: Kim Trafford
Condolence: I know the shock and sadness I feel a learning of Elva's sudden passing; I cannot even begin to imagine the devastation Mary-Beth, Donald, Betty, Mary, and Jim especially feel as well as the rest of the family. My love, thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you work through the grief created by the loss of Elva. She will be deeply missed; her easy way, her love of family, sports, the earth. I am blessed for the years I have known her and the many conversations and laughs shared. Elva is irreplaceable and will be missed, my deepest sympathies to Mary Beth and the entire Wilson and Ross families.

Condolence: We are shocked and saddened to hear of Elva's passing. We often thought about her over the years as we still have an old photo hanging in our home of Uncle Clifford's farm and it felt good to know that it had been so lovingly restored. Always admired her dedication in everything she did. Our sincere sympathy Mary Beth and family.

Condolence: To the Ross Family: I was sure shocked and sad to learn about Elva's passing. She taught my 2 daughters and son at Elma Township School, and they certainly have many fond memories of her. She was certainly a great addition to the North Perth Singers' choir with her tenor voice. And, even though she just joined the choir this year, we all have many very special memories of her. Condolence: I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Ms. Ross. I was one of her students in the 70's. I followed the recent celebration of Elma Twp. Public School online, and was overjoyed to see a picture of her in attendance. I wrote her a long message about what an incredible, positive influence she has had upon my life. I was so hoping to hear back from her. All I can say is that the legacy of her work stretches far and wide. Rest in peace. I will spend time in my garden today and light a candle for you, thousands of miles away.

Condolence: So Sorry to hear of your loss. I was never fortunate enough to have Miss Ross as a home room teacher at Elma Twp Public School, however I did have the great pleasure of having her as a coach for our school teams. She was very patient and kind to all of us no matter our skill level. I had the opportunity to attend the recent anniversary celebrations at Elma the highlight of the day was the speech she gave, it brought back many fond memories.

Condolence: When you have to select a security question for an online account, I always choose 'What is the name of your favorite teacher?' Answer: Miss Ross! She let us ask the questions about topics we really needed answers to and encouraged us to have open discussions in class. She taught us SO much more than the standard curriculum topics.... she taught us about life! I got her contact information from my mom recently, since I wanted to reach out to tell her how much her guidance has meant to me. Being slow to do that simple and important thing is something I'll always regret. At least her loved ones will know - 'Miss Ross' lives on in her students hearts!

Condolence: So surprised and sorry to hear of Elva's passing. She will surely be missed. I taught at Elma with her for quite a few years and always had the deepest respect for her. She was so good with intermediate students and that is not an easy task. She gave so much of herself to her students and anyone whose life touched hers. She will be missed. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Condolence: Please accept my deepest condolences. Miss Ross was one of the best teachers I ever had and one of the very few that could get me interested in school. Her love sports mirrored mine and gave us a direct connection which enabled her to see and harness my potential more so than any other educator. To this day out of all the sports I have coached and my chosen profession in the recreation sector, I have used many of the skills that she once taught me and tried to always relay her patience for coaching and her sheer love of sports.
