Life Story for James Hawkins

James  Hawkins
Richard James 'Jim' Hawkins of Harriston – passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Monday, July 17, 2017 in his 83rd year.

Jim was the husband of Agnes Hawkins for 54 years, and father of John Hawkins and his friend Deb Michel of Saskatchewan, and Jayne McGillivray and her husband Greg of Paisley.

He will be missed by his grandsons Brady and Myles McGillivray, by his sister Kay Atwood and her husband Ivan of Torrington, Conn., and by Agnes' siblings Lydia and Ignarz Ling of Guelph, Ivo Eykens of Guelph, Mary Ann and Steve Unwin of Blackstock, and Anita and Dave Barber of St.George.

Remembered by his nieces and nephews, and by relatives in England and Belgium.

Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 21 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Harriston Cemetery.

Memorial donations to Palmerston & District Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
