Agnes Weber ~ of Harriston, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at the age of 82 years.

Loving wife of Eldon Weber. Mother of Patricia and Bill Berfelz of Listowel, Debra and Greg Moore, Catherine and Bob Hass, and Darwin of Susan Weber, all of Waterloo, and Charles and Ellen Weber, and Perry and Tammy Weber, all of Minto.

Grandmother of Curtis and Jenn Berfelz, Brent and Hope Berfelz, Tanya and Mike O’Toole, Kelly and Patrick McLeod, Jordan and Sander van Stee, Matthew and Amanda Hass, B.J. Hoyt, Skye Weber, Adam and Lea Weber, Emily Weber, Nathan Weber, and Nicolas Weber, and great-grandmother of Taynton and Brynn Berfelz, Barrett and Watson Berfelz, Connor, Samantha, and Aiden O’Toole, Lauchlan and Kyleigh-Ann McLeod, Arjen and Thias van Stee, and Bruce Hoyt.

Sister of Betty Brush, Margaret Taylor, Julie Ann and Don McCague, Lynda and Bob Bramhill, and Lorna and Lynn Collins, and sister-in-law of Beulah and Grant Chambers, Carole Weber, and Margaret Weber. Loved by
many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Clayton and Isabel (Russell) Weber, and by Eldon’s parents Irene and Charles Weber, brother Russell Weber, sister-in-law Donna Allan and her husband Gordon, brothers-in-law Lyle Weber, Harold Weber, Jim Taylor, Gordon Day, and Dale Brush, and by her niece Joan Day and nephew James Day.

Agnes Catherine Weber was born in Minto Township on March 11, 1937. Agnes and Eldon were married on February 2, 1957 and ran a mixed farm for 45 years on Lot 25, Concession 14 of Minto Township. She was a member of the Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston, a 4-H Leader, Member of Rebekah Lodge, and volunteered wherever needed.

For 25 years, as an avid Bus Driver she drove many students to school and then was Grandma to many as Cook at the Small Angels Day Care.

She will always be known for her homemade chocolates. Agnes was a great supporter of many local sports especially when her grandchildren were playing.

She enjoyed dancing, travelling, sewing, knitting, a card game, theatre, bowling and socializing with family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston, on Saturday, April 6th at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will be held in Harriston Cemetery.

Memorial donations to Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston, or Palmerston Hospital would be appreciated.
