I remember Uncle Kurt from the many times our family visited when I was a boy. He was always funny, warm and friendly. I remember helping out with cousins Ricky and Kurtie at the meat shop they called "the Plant". After my wife and I were married, I was sure to pay a visit with her to the Oelschlagel's to introduce them to her.
