Blás Marco Gomez, formerly of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Caressant Care, Harriston, on Friday, November 5, 2021, in his 88th year.
Father to Blaise Marco (Liz), Maria Daniel, Margaretta Dernoga (Jeff), Richard Marco (Kerry Hannaberg), Anna Smith (Craig) and Sandra Ambrosini (Learco). Grandfather of Christopher, Adam, Bryan, Alexés, Chanelle, Chloé, Téa, Raquél, Alivia, Sophie, and Tanner, and great-grandfather of Dakota, Sierra, Ava, Kolton, Maddison, Elli, Lincoln, and Maverick.
Born in Nules, Castellón, Spain, Blás immigrated to Canada in the late 1960s and worked at Malleable Iron Company.
A private graveside funeral service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Guelph.
