Obituary for Dianne Nancekivell

Dianne Grace Nancekivell of Wingham, passed away peacefully with her family at her side, on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the age of 62 years.

Loved daughter of Larry & Lynne (Manicom) Nancekivell of R.R.1, Clifford.

Sister of Greg & Joanne Nancekivell of Waterloo, Brent & Sue Nancekivell of Clifford, and Brenda & Curvin Martin of Ariss.

Aunt of Laura Nancekivell and Les Dale, Mitchell Nancekivell, Brandy, Taylor, and Brooke Nancekivell, and Travis Martin, and great-aunt of Kieran, Brendan, Austin, Rowan, and Camdyn.

Dianne worked at the University Daycare in London from 1980 - 2014, where she made many friends and lovingly cared for countless toddlers. When she retired to Wingham, she made great friends at both the Pentecostal and Salvation Army churches. She volunteered at the Salvation Army thrift shop in Wingham, again making friends and helping out at community events. Dianne had many hobbies such as rug hooking, cross-stitch, photography, and walking.

She was always smiling, fun-loving, and deeply faithful. She was described as an angel by almost everyone she knew, and will be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, neighbours, her church family, and her furry-friend Cody.

Dianne’s family is thankful for the amazing and compassionate staff at Wingham & District Hospital, and to Pastor Jenn Brown and the Majors Simmonds for their spiritual guidance.

Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The family would appreciate if you wear a mask.

The funeral service will be held at Knox United Church, Clifford, on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jenn Brown officiating. The service will be live-streamed.
