My deepest condolences to your family on the loss of Florence, Mrs. Fry to me as a grade 6 student who loved her class. My mother Helen also had close ties to the family as she worked at Fry's store for a number of years while I was growing up.
The picture here is exactly as I remember her back in the 1960's!
Thoughts are with you at this time,

In fond memory of Flo, who we will certainly miss seeing every summer. We were so glad to get to know her -- a wonderful woman with a lovely smile, a great sense of humour, and absolutely boundless energy. Our thoughts are with you Rick, Rob and family.

I would like to send my condolences to the family and tell you about my memories of this lovely lady. Mrs Fry was my teacher in Grade 3 and then again in Grade 6. My happiest memories of school were made in her classrooms. That was over 50 years ago. She inspired me to become a teacher which then led to many wonderful and rewarding educational leadership and administration experiences. I know I was blessed to have her influence my life.

So very sorry to here of Florence passing.
It's been many years past that my parents (Harold&Madeliene) and I would visit with the Frys in Harriston. They would visit Flo&Norm and we would play for what seemed hours. (to me, Aunt Florence) Your mother was always kind, yet intriguing. So smart and witty, inquisitive and chatty, yet very proper. Your Dad(Norm) was always so nice and (I felt) a deep thinker. Later in life, the families would have the odd summer afternoon reunion at Doug & Dianne Sparlings, Tavistock. Time has flown by since those carefree days but not erased the memories.
Cousins - Our heart felt sympathies to You all. We will always fondly remember Aunt Florence.
