Father of Kim and Ian Hawkins of London, Amanda and Rob Johnston of Bluevale, Josh Dowler and Hailey Lang of Harriston, Angela and Brian McDonald of Palmerston, Craig and Katherine Goodmurphy of Virginia Beach, and Rebecca Palmer of Harriston.
Grandfather of Travis, Curtis, Connor, Jordan, Maegan, Lauren, Mya, Aidan, Caitlin, Tyson, Evan, Jillian, Rayna, Blake, Rylan, Blaine, and Kyra.
Brother of Carl Dowler of Medicine Hat, Russell Dowler of Port Coquitlam, B.C., Murray and Lynda Dowler of Peterborough, Clarence and Betty Dowler of St. Jacobs, Harold and Rose Dowler of Kitchener, Ann and Terry Murray of Clifford, and Danny Dowler of Peterborough, and brother-in-law of Karen Dowler, Maureen Dowler, Helen Dowler, Donna Dowler and Margie Dowler.
Predeceased by his parents George & Emma (Speers) Dowler, and by his brothers and sisters Betty (Bill) Rickett, John Dowler, Ken (Audrey) Dowler, Larry Dowler, Roy Dowler, Leonard Dowler, George Dowler, Roy Dowler, and by his sisters-in-law Helen Dowler and Shirley Dowler.
Gerry's children will hold a Celebration of their father's life at the Harriston Legion (53 Elora St. S., Harriston) on Friday, June 10th at 2:00 p.m.
