I just read in the Listowel Banner that your mom passed away. Please accept my condolences. I do not hear the news first hand anymore now that I am retired. Your mom was always a very pleasant lady and I enjoyed being her dental hygienist over the years. I am sorry for your loss.

On behalf of the Residents, Staff, Volunteers, and Management of Fordwich Village Nursing Home I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Jean Clarkson. She enjoyed her time as a former volunteer of our home for over 23 years and would continue to encourage others to join in programs even after she had decided to become one of our "family". She would often say that she was "just an antique" but I would always tell her that she was a grandma and "grandmas are antique little girls" and we would laugh. To the family I would like to say that she was a very proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother who fondly spoke of her family during conversation and loved to share pictures of you. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Jean will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her "family" at Fordwich Village Nursing Home. Sincerely, Barb Wakeford, Activity Director, FVNH
