Obituary for Jody Bishop
Jody Bishop ~ Unexpectedly, at Hamilton General Hospital on Monday, November 11, 2019, Jody Russell Glenn Bishop of Clifford, in his 51st year.
Much loved husband of Amy (Derbecker) Bishop, and loving father of Hannah and Addison.
Jody will be warmly remembered by his mother Judy (Voelzing) Current of Kitchener, and by Amy's family; her parents Keith and Henny Derbecker of Clifford, brother Chris and Valerie Derbecker (Riley, Ben, and Anika Derbecker), and her sister Shelley and Brandon Kerr (Adelyn Kerr). Predeceased by his father Don Bishop.
As Jody was a recipient of a donated kidney and now a tissue donor himself, the family would strongly encourage everyone to sign their donor cards and let their wishes be known to family and loved ones.
Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran, Clifford on Saturday, November 16th at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jody Rinas officiating.
Interment in Clifford Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
