Life Story for Kenneth Fisk

Dr. Kenneth Reid Fisk (October 9, 1926 – March 9, 2019) A World War II naval veteran, passed away peacefully at Caressant Care, Harriston on Saturday, March 9, 2019 in his 93rd year.

Loving husband of Irene (Klages) Fisk for nearly 70 years, and father of Dr. Terry Fisk and his wife Krista, Norm Fisk and his wife Jeanne, Rick Fisk and his wife Joan, Susan Cavell and her husband Brent, Jeff Fisk and his wife Darlene, and adopted son Jack Johnston.

Remembered by his grandchildren Kerry and Natasha Fisk, Samantha Fisk, Leigh Fisk, Tim Fisk and Kirsty Edwards, Melissa Fisk and Justin Beharry, Tyler and Jocelyn Fisk, Brittany Fisk and Colin Amos, Reid and Michelle Cavell, Colin and Kerri Cavell, Tyson and Michelle Cavell, Ryan and Kayla Fisk, Joshua and Shelley Fisk, Sarah Fisk-Gunson and Geoff Gunson, Jodi Fisk-Givens and Derrick Givens, and Kayli and Ryan Buehler; and by his great-grandchildren Declan Fisk, Grayson Fisk, Brinley Fisk, Sastri Fisk-Beharry, Koi Fisk-Beharry, Mika Fisk-Beharry, Danica Fisk, Carter Fisk, Piper Austin, Riley Austin, Colin Buehler, Piersen Cavell, Harper Cavell, Ilya Cavell, Carter Cavell, Chasity Caesar, Cierra Cavell, Easton Fisk, Charlee Fisk, Maxim Fisk, Rayven Gunson, Ryder Gunson, Rein Givens, Mason Buehler, Brody Buehler and Skylar Buehler.

Brother of Hazel Hall, and brother-in-law of Florence Farr, Edna Hilgartner, Pauline Klages, and Audrey Murdoch.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Norman and Ethel Fisk, by Irene’s parents Louis and Clara Klages, and by his brothers-in-law Bob Hall, Gerry Hilgartner, Alvin Klages, Gordon Klages, and Doug Farr.

A family funeral service will be held at Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston on Saturday, March 16th, with memorial services by the Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Royal Canadian Legion.

Friends are invited to a reception to remember Ken’s life at the Harriston Royal Canadian Legion on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Memorial donations to Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, or Harriston Royal Canadian Legion Branch 296 would be appreciated by the family, and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
