Never will I forget the time we were fishing in the Sydenham River, trolling for walleye. Ralph got huge "hit". I stopped the boat to let him tire out the monster. 10 minutes later he finally tired out his catch and brought it aboard. Believe it or not, this is the one and only time I have ever seen anyone catch an old rubber car tire. He never lived it down. Nothing but good memories my friend. RIP Kent Peters

One thing I will remember about dad is when we were younger he always made up stories of when he and Cochise hung out together started the sports hockey and baseball. He had laughing and believing him. The stories kept us entertained while mom was grocery shopping. Usually we went to a park and sat there on the grass while he told us his stories. We were all so mesmerized.

Love you dad and will miss you! Love Laura

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Grandpa Ralph was, without a doubt, the life of the party! Always smiling, always laughing (mostly at his terrible jokes which would never end) and always trying to make everyone laugh and feel good. One of the gentlemen who was at the same home he was staying at said "oh Ralph? We got along great! Hes always joking and laughing and what a ladies man!" Everytime I hear Bob Seger's, Old Time Rock and Roll, I will think of you cutting up the floor, grabbing the hand of any girl on the dancefloor, just to try and make their night! Everytime I see a Diary Queen you will pop in my head, cause when driving anywhere we'd have to map the route to hit all of them along the way! And who can forget when you'd pull out your teeth to scare all the grandkids! I wish we had more time while you were back in Ontario, but I'm just glad you're at peace now. Rest in peace Grandpa Ralph! You were one in a million!
