Obituary for Ronald Harkness
Ronald Leslie Harkness of McIntosh, passed away at University Hospital, London on Friday, February 25, 2022, in his 74th year.
Husband of Carolyn (Rode) Harkness. Father of Sonya and Darrell of Hanover, and Brad and Erin of McIntosh. Grandfather of Maria, Deacon, Katie, Gracie, Bryce, and great-grandfather of Chloe.
Brother of Linda Walker of Belmore, and Leland and Jane Harkness of McIntosh, and brother-in-law of Marilyn Bartman of Palmerston, and Harold and Susan Rode of Ottawa. Also remembered by his many nieces and nephews, Ellen and her family, and by his Masonic brethren.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Bruce and Ida (Jacques) Harkness, daughter Heather, by 1 sister and 3 brothers, and by his brother-in-law Carl Bartman.
Visitation will be held at the Belmore Community Hall on Wednesday, March 2nd from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating. Spring interment in McIntosh Cemetery.
