Obituary for Scott Reeder
Scott William Reeder passed away peacefully at his home in Harriston, Ontario, surrounded with the love of his family, on August 18, 2022.
Scott was born on May 7, 1971 to proud parents Sharon & the late Patrick Reeder (2003).
Dearly loved older brother to Danny and wife Lisa, and amazing “Untow Dot” to niece Cassidy all of St. Constant, Quebec. Cherished big brother of Randy, his wife Tracy, proud Uncle to Brandon, and great uncle to Tommy-Lee, all of Burnt River, Ontario.
Much loved husband to Chris, extremely proud father to Becca whom he adopted on June 2, 2019, and loving and treasured father to his 4-legged furry son Cooper.
In recent years, Scott found a love for gardening once he became a homeowner. He found joy in woodworking, making several custom pieces of furniture, game boards and Christmas decorations. These activities took much of his spare time, with the exception of Sundays when the Philadelphia Eagles stole his attention.
We will be celebrating Scott’s remarkable life at his home in Harriston on August 27th, 2022, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
We will also celebrate with friends and family in his home town of Gaspe, Quebec on September 3rd, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Gaspe Legion.
Memorial donations to Cancer Patient Services at Louise Marshall Hospital, or the Huntington Society of Canada would be appreciated, and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
