Obituary for Wray Zimmerman

Wray Harold Zimmerman, formerly of Fordwich, passed away peacefully at his home in Listowel on Friday, February 11, 2022 in his 84th year. Wray was born on December 6, 1938 at the home farm in Howick Township.

Survived by his loving wife Sharon (Hill) Zimmerman, and his sons Michael of Kitchener, Jeffery of Teeswater, and Parry of Toronto.

Brother of Reta Seyler of Wellesley, and Marion and Finley Pfeffer of Clifford, and brother-in-law of Marjorie Zimmerman of Howick Township, Jim Hill of Clifford, Richard and Doreen Moore of Hanover, Deb Whitehead of Hanover, Brad and Diane Moore of Harriston, Vickie Zettel of Chepstow, Steph Newton of Ayton, and Chris and Diane Moore of Neustadt. Remembered also by his many nieces and nephews.

Wray was predeceased by his parents Paul and Mary (Gadke) Zimmerman, his mother-in-law June (Thomas) David, father-in-law Elmer Hill, and his sisters and brothers Verna (Carl) Orth, Eva Snyder, Walter Zimmerman, Doris (Harold) Macke, Wilfred Seyler, and Arnold (Eleanor) Zimmerman.

Predeceased also by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Brenda and Mayne Roth, Sheila Hill, Trent Moore, John Zettel, and Jim Newton.

A private family service will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Thursday, February 17 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Gail Clarkson officiating. The service will be live-streamed.

Please note that proof of vaccination will be required to attend the funeral service and the reception.
