Summer Holidays

As a young girl I spent many summers in Harriston staying at Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Dons home. What wonderful memories I have. Spending time at the Hat Shop and watching the women try on hats and just come in to chat. Watching Auntie lawn bowl and being sent home to bed when the lights came on. Of course we always took our time going back. Helping paint a bathroom and then to find Auntie and Uncle repainting it one night because it was too bright. The times Auntie would tell us to clean the house before Marg came to clean. When I got into Highschool I wanted to find a purple leather coat as it was my school colours. Auntie came to Scarborough, picked me up and took me Downtown Toronto to her wholesale shops and found me a purple leather coat We will miss her at the family functions. We had her for such a long time it will be strange without her there. David and I send our love and prayers to all the family. What a wonderful legacy Aunty has left. Heather
